Jin of BTS opened up about how his mindset has changed since debut, revealing raw and honest feelings.

He recently appeared on webtoon-artist-turned-TV personality Kian84’s YouTube channel. Reuniting for the first time in a while after Netflix’s Kian's Bizarre B&B, the two dove into everything from life updates to thoughts on promotions. Kicking off their chat while half-buried in the snow, Jin joked, “You dragged a world star out here for this?” grumbling playfully and cracking everyone up.

Sharing his latest activities, Jin said, “I’m preparing a solo album and currently working on a tour, and I’ve been busy with commercial shoots,” adding, “When I have time, I play games or have a light drink.”

He also reflected on BTS’s group promotions. When Kian84 asked, “What’s changed the most since debut?” Jin replied, “My mindset has gotten better.” He continued, “At first, I thought I might stop after around seven years, but as I kept going, it got more fun and I became more sincere,” confessing, “I didn’t think I’d be doing this for this long.”

Jin spoke about his feelings toward fans as well. “As my gratitude toward fans grew, I felt I could keep going longer and take things more seriously,” he said, adding, “I think I’m becoming more positive.”

The conversation also turned to performance. When Kian84 praised, “Idols tend to loosen up their choreography as the years go by, but BTS still keeps razor-sharp synchronization,” Jin responded humbly, “The members are amazing. I’m not that great. I’m pretty good at being objective about myself.” He then joked, “Honestly, I lead with my face,” drawing laughter.

Meanwhile, BTS, including Jin, released their fifth full-length album ‘Arirang’ on the 20th and met fans with a comeback live performance at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul on the 21st.
