BTOB's Yook Sungjae is gearing up for a buzzworthy transformation in romance, stepping into a swoon-worthy younger-man role.

Set to premiere on SBS later this year, Yook will star in the drama NINE to SIX alongside Park Min-young and Go Soo. The series follows deputy team leader Kang I-ji of the legal team, an emotionally attuned intern Han Seon-woo, and the cool-headed division head Park Hyun-tae as their lives intertwine in a relatable, real-world office romance.

In the drama, Yook plays Han Seon-woo, an intern on the legal team at Chronic Motors, taking charge of the show's butterflies. Gifted with quick judgment and unwavering diligence, Han earns his team's trust while embodying the ideal younger love interest—kind, thoughtful, and responsible. He shakes the heart of his workaholic boss Kang I-ji and stands at the center of a full-on romance.

Park Min-young takes on the role of Kang I-ji, the deputy head of the legal team, aiming for another rom-com hit. Though she approaches love and marriage with strict logic, she begins to change after meeting a younger intern and a flawless division head. Having fronted multiple smash rom-coms like What's Wrong with Secretary Kim and Marry My Husband, expectations are sky-high for her next act. Go Soo returns to the romance genre for the first time in about 15 years as division head Park Hyun-tae—someone who evaluates Kang I-ji with a cold gaze yet brings a weighty presence that sets up a compelling second axis of romance.

The star-studded lineup drew major attention from the casting stage alone, fueling curiosity about the chemistry and explosive synergy this trio will deliver.

Meanwhile, Yook continues promotions with BTOB, thriving as a versatile "hexagon all-rounder." Celebrating their 14th debut anniversary, BTOB recently dropped the new single 'Us Again,' which is already winning fans' hearts.
