Actor Kang So-ra candidly opened up about everything from her first meeting with her husband to the realities of marriage, striking a chord with viewers.

Appearing on the March 23 episode of the SBS variety show Unbelievable, Kang So-ra shared her love story with her husband, a traditional Korean medicine doctor. She said she was unexpectedly drawn to him because he was calm and low-key during their blind date. She recalled, "I caught feelings way too fast," adding, "When I suggested we keep things casual, he readily agreed. The fact that he didn’t cling actually sparked my interest." She added that their relationship deepened naturally and they soon became a couple.

She didn’t hold back about married life either. Kang So-ra said, "We bicker over little things a lot, so marriage feels kind of sweet-and-salty." In particular, she joked, "I wish he’d stop leaving his socks inside out when he takes them off," adding, "Every time I have to flip his inside-out socks back, I get mad," drawing laughter. She also mentioned his habit of storing leftover food as-is, adding, "He’ll put kkakdugi (cubed radish kimchi) with teeth marks back in the fridge," revealing a very real married-couple conflict.

On the flip side, when asked what her husband wants from her, she said, "He asks me to nag less," but quipped, "If you do things right, there’s nothing to nag about, is there?" keeping the mood light.

Kang So-ra also shared her thoughts on marriage. "I tell the people around me to get married as late as possible," she said. "Life is longer than you think." When asked if she would marry her current husband again if she were born again, she answered honestly, "If he wants to, I will; if not, probably not," drawing attention.

Meanwhile, Kang So-ra married a traditional Korean medicine doctor eight years her senior in 2020, and the couple has two daughters.
