Actor Baek Hyun-jin is teaming up with PrainTPC, kicking off a bold new chapter.
On the 24th, PrainTPC announced, "We have signed an exclusive contract with Baek Hyun-jin," adding, "We will actively support him so he can pursue wide-ranging creative work across various fields." The company also asked fans and the industry to show interest and support for his next moves.
Since debuting in 1997 with Uhuhboo Project's first album 'Break-even Point,' Baek has navigated both music and acting with a uniquely original voice. He delivered a powerful presence across diverse projects, including the dramas Mary Kills People, Thank you, Moving, and Taxi Driver, as well as the films Samjin Company English Class and Keys to the Heart, proving his genre-defying range.
In particular, in the Coupang Play series Jikjangin-deul Season 2, he portrayed Manager Baek—nicknamed 'Hujangnim'—crafting a hyper-real, relatable character that left a deep impression on viewers. Known for distinctive performances and a one-of-a-kind aura that deliver fresh shocks with every role, Baek is also active in visual art and literature, showcasing his creative versatility. Most recently, he presented a solo exhibition titled 'Seoul Syntax,' drawing from his experiences in Seoul and reaffirming his stature as an artist.
Meanwhile, PrainTPC represents a roster of top talent, including Ryu Seung-ryong, Oh Jung-se, Park Jin-joo, Lee Joon, and Yoon Seung-ah.
