NCT member Doyoung made a surprise appearance at a dinner hosted by Prime Minister Kim Min-seok, capturing attention with his sharp military look.
On the 23rd, Doyoung attended a dinner-roundtable for Life Ambassadors and the Cheonmyeong Guardians Office at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Samcheong-dong, Seoul, appearing in his Army uniform.
The event invited figures from culture, religion, and industry who are part of the ‘Cheonmyeong Guardians Project,’ and Doyoung participated as a ‘Life Ambassador.’
Other attendees reportedly included singer Mad Clown, Venerable Beomjeong, Naver Cloud leader Ok Sang-hoon, Netflix Korea head Ye Jin-hae, Samsung Electronics President Park Seung-hee, Life Insurance Social Contribution Foundation Chairman Lee Jang-woo, and Korea Suicide Prevention Association President Baek Jong-woo.
The ‘Cheonmyeong Guardians Project’ is led by the pan-government Life Guardians Promotion Headquarters and aims to reduce the annual number of suicide deaths by 1,000 by 2026, with leaders from various sectors joining as Life Ambassadors to support suicide-prevention efforts.
Meanwhile, Doyoung enlisted in December last year and is currently serving as an active-duty soldier in the Army. Even during service, he has continued his philanthropy — including donating 100 million KRW (approximately USD 75,000) to support care leavers transitioning to independent living — earning praise for his ongoing positive influence.
