Former announcer-turned-TV star Jun Hyun-moo dives headfirst into a bold new challenge as his passion for interior design explodes — and it quickly spirals into a shopping frenzy.
On the March 27 broadcast of MBC's variety show I Live Alone, Jun sets out to realize his so-called 'Cheonhyu-terior' (a portmanteau of Park Chun-hyu and interior), personally hitting the shops. The project began after he visited writer Park Chun-hyu's home and was deeply inspired by its sleek, thoughtfully curated space.
Jun heads to a massive Nordic-style furniture store to kick off his makeover prep. Before shopping, he stops by the in-store restaurant, piles on the recommended dishes, and enjoys a full Nordic spread. Then, referencing Park Chun-hyu's social media, he starts compiling a list of must-haves — a careful plan that still keeps things light and funny.
He reveals his goal: to completely revamp a workroom that had basically turned into a storage space filled with old items. Having failed before due to overbuying, he vows to be cautious this time — but the moment he steps into the showroom, that plan starts to wobble.
Exclaiming, "My eyes are going wild," Jun begins tossing the latest products and eye-catching items into his cart one after another. He even sweeps up so-called 'Cheonhyu picks,' and the cart fills up in an instant. Soon enough, he's seen hauling a cart stacked high with boxes like a small mountain, cracking everyone up.
Will Jun Hyun-moo stick to his plan and complete the 'Cheonhyu-terior,' or is he headed for yet another overspending ending? Find out on March 27 at 11:10 p.m.
