On March 27, the SHINee member unveiled ‘Long Way Home,’ marking a new step in his solo discography.
The track is a pop R&B ballad that focuses on melody and vocal expression, exploring themes of distance, longing, and the pull of returning to something familiar. The song’s tone leans toward a softer, reflective mood, allowing his vocals to take the lead.
This release also signals the start of a series of upcoming projects, as Taemin plans to introduce additional singles in succession.
Alongside new music, he is preparing for major live appearances, including performances at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in April.
