Shocking shake-up: Ha Min-gi — known to the public as the nephew of a famous tteokbokki (spicy rice cake) franchise founder — is parting ways with Modenberry Korea and stepping down from the boy group project AIRHUNDRED.
On the 27th, Modenberry Korea announced, "After thorough discussions during the reorganization of our new boy group AIRHUNDRED, we mutually agreed to terminate Ha Min-gi’s exclusive contract." The company added, "Having spent a long time together, we decided to root for each other’s futures. We sincerely thank the fans for the support and love they have shown Ha Min-gi."
When he was first revealed, Ha Min-gi drew viral attention after it became known he was the nephew of a renowned tteokbokki franchise founder, earning the nicknames "Tteokbokki Heir" and "Street-Food Idol."
In January, Ha Min-gi also pursued music activities by releasing the project single 'Snowflake Night' with Kang I-rang and Cho Si-yoon.
Meanwhile, AIRHUNDRED — Modenberry Korea’s first boy group project — is currently undergoing a comprehensive restructuring.
