Nam Gyu-ri of the group SeeYa opened up about the pain surrounding their disbandment and shared her honest feelings ahead of their reunion.

On the March 29 broadcast of the SBS variety show My Little Old Boy, Nam Gyu-ri’s daily life was shown as fellow SeeYa members Kim Yeon-ji and Lee Bo-ram visited her home for a long-awaited reunion. Over a meal, the trio naturally looked back on memories from their promotion days.

Lee Bo-ram recalled the rough early days, saying, "We even went on stage without getting our hair and makeup done when we debuted." Kim Yeon-ji added, "They wouldn’t let me wear makeup because they said my bare face looked prettier." The mood turned heavy as they revisited their short run and the sudden breakup. Lee confessed, "I never thought it would end after just three years," and remembered how they hugged and cried after their final performance.

Nam Gyu-ri also admitted, "If even one good adult had been by our side when we were young, we could have lasted longer and remained a cooler group," voicing her regret from that time. She also revealed the complicated emotions she felt about the group’s end, which came amid swirling rumors.

Later, the three looked back on their full-group performance on JTBC’s variety show Two Yoo Project Sugar Man in 2020. "I felt so much love reading the comments that my phone battery died," Nam said, expressing her gratitude to fans.

SeeYa debuted in 2006 and exploded in popularity with hits like 'Scent of a Woman,' 'Shoes,' and 'Crazy Love Song.' The group returns to the public on March 30 at 6 p.m. KST with their new single 'Nevertheless, We.'
