About three weeks after a controversy over her remark about Galaxy phones, influencer Freezia from Netflix’s dating show Single's Inferno revealed she had bought the device and is now using it—immediately drawing fresh attention.
On the 29th, Freezia uploaded a video to her YouTube channel unboxing a Galaxy phone and showing how she actually uses it. She clarified, “I never intended to belittle a specific device in my previous video,” adding, “I got harsh while expressing my preferences because I didn’t like some photos I’d taken on that device in the past.”
She continued, “Lately I’ve heard it takes great photos, and so many people asked for comparisons that I wanted to try it myself,” explaining why she switched. After taking selfies and checking the results, she said she was satisfied with the image quality and color, and reacted positively to features like sticker decorations.
Previously, Freezia drew backlash after saying in a past YouTube upload, “I think I’d dislike it if my boyfriend used a Galaxy.”
Despite her explanation, online reactions remain divided. Some are skeptical, asking if she’s only using the device temporarily because of the controversy, while others argue she was simply being honest about her personal taste.
