Actor Lee Yeon-hee opened up about her trainee days with Super Junior member Kim Heechul, stirring buzz with candid memories.
Appearing on the March 29 broadcast of the SBS variety show My Little Old Boy, Lee said, "I spent time with Heechul from our trainee days," adding, "Back then, he had very quirky tastes, and he had a lot of female friends around him," drawing laughs.
Lee continued, "He was well-spoken and great at setting the mood. I was extremely shy, but he looked out for me, took me around, and even treated me to meals," expressing her gratitude. The MCs reacted playfully, saying, "Sounds just like him today."
On the show, Lee also touched on her married life. She married a non-celebrity in 2020 and is now a mother of one. She shared that during their dating days, her husband told people about their relationship but many didn’t believe him—until he introduced her in person. Lee added with a laugh, "Some people still had a ‘no way’ look even after seeing me in real life."
Meanwhile, Lee made her debut in 2001 through SM’s Youth Best Contest and has joined the drama Gaein-jeogin Taeksi.
