Shocking: Shinhwa member Kim Dong-wan has spoken up about Shin Hye-sung’s absence from Lee Min-woo’s wedding, making his stance crystal clear.

On the 30th, Kim posted on his Threads account, "Why do people keep trying to add meaning to someone’s choice to live quietly? It’s their life. They don’t owe anyone a debt, nor an explanation." His remark is being interpreted as a response to the swirl of rumors surrounding Shin Hye-sung’s no-show.

Lee Min-woo tied the knot on the 29th in Seoul with Ami Lee, a third-generation Zainichi Korean who is 11 years younger. The ceremony was attended by Eric and his wife Na Hye-mi, Jun Jin and his wife Ryu Yi-seo, and Andy and his wife Lee Eun-ju, with Kim Dong-wan also present. Jun Jin and Andy served as MCs, while Eric and Kim Dong-wan took the stage for a celebratory performance, highlighting the group’s bond. However, Shin Hye-sung did not appear, drawing intense attention.

Shin Hye-sung has been out of the public eye since receiving a suspended prison sentence for a 2022 DUI charge. He previously made a quiet appearance as a guest at Andy’s wedding.

Shinhwa debuted in 1998 and its members are currently focusing on individual activities.
