A star-studded lineup of so-called 'Daehakro idols'—including musical actor Byung-hoon Kang, winner of the 10th Korea Musical Awards Rookie of the Year—will share one stage this May.
Producer Library Company announced it will stage the 'La La La Festival' concert this May with a total of 16 actors.
The festival brings together active Daehakro musical actors in an unprecedented format, aiming for a performance that connects with audiences more directly and honestly. Each actor will curate and build their own stage to reflect their tastes and stories, evolving the show beyond a simple concert into live content.
The setlist will include familiar musical numbers, tracks from the actors' personal playlists, candid talk segments revealing behind-the-scenes stories, and audience-participation events. Organizers say fans can expect a special experience that goes beyond a performance to truly sharing time with the actors.
The show is divided into seven teams, with a different combination of performers taking the stage each day. The cast—Byung-hoon Kang, Tae-ha Kwon, Seo-hwan Kim, Jun-sik Kim, Sang-hyuk Park, Young-bin Park, Eun-ho Shin, Seung-woo Yoon, Seok-jun Lee, Jun-hyuk Lim, Hye-ju Jeon, Sung-pil Cho, Da-on Joo, Soo-hyun Choi, Seok-jun Hyun, and Hwi Hwang—will showcase their distinct charms and chemistry.
