A single poster just melted prospective viewers' hearts.
On the 1st, the TVING original series Yumi's Cells Season 3 (hereafter 'Yumi's Cells 3') unveiled its character posters.
The posters capture the sweet chemistry between Yumi (played by Kim Go-eun), who is still clumsy at love, and Sun-rok (played by Kim Jae-won), a surprising "homebody" behind his polished exterior. In particular, Sun-rok's arrival is set to shake up Yumi's daily routine, raising anticipation.
Out in the world, Sun-rok is known for dropping brutally straightforward "truth bombs," but after meeting Yumi, he gradually gains energy and starts to change. Thanks to him, the cell village springs back to life, and even a mysterious, never-before-seen cell appears—making their romance all the more intriguing.
Returning after four years, 'Yumi's Cells 3' tells a laugh-out-loud and heart-fluttering story sparked by a sudden new face entering the life of Yumi, now a star writer. Kim Go-eun—often praised as "Yumi herself"—teams up with rising youth actor Kim Jae-won, further boosting expectations.
After the posters dropped, fans reacted passionately: "Can't wait for Yumi and Sun-rok's chemistry," "The cells are too cute," and "A dopamine-exploding couple."
Meanwhile, 'Yumi's Cells 3' will pre-release two episodes exclusively on TVING every Monday at 6 p.m. starting on the 13th, and will air one episode on tvN every Monday and Tuesday at 8:50 p.m.
