K-pop girl group ILLIT is rolling out a one-of-a-kind merch album that’s already turning heads.
On April 1, Belift Lab announced that ILLIT will release the 'Gua Sha Ceramic Objet Version' merch album for their 4th mini album 'MAMIHLAPINATAPAI'.
Centered around a design objet inspired by the shape of a gua sha, the set includes a pouch, mini CD, lyric booklet, and photo cards. The group’s signature kitschy, lovable vibe is woven into the design and instantly catches the eye.
Previously, ILLIT won fans over with inventive album-merch items such as in-ear earphones for 'bomb' and a keyring plush of longtime bestseller character Little Mimi for 'NOT CUTE ANYMORE'.

The album title 'MAMIHLAPINATAPAI' comes from the language of the Yaghan people of South America and describes the moment when two people want the same thing but neither makes the first move. The record captures ILLIT’s story of focusing inward—and even enjoying complicated feelings—as a relationship deepens.
ILLIT’s 4th mini album 'MAMIHLAPINATAPAI' will be released on April 30 at 6 p.m. KST on major music platforms.
