Jeon Ji-hyun is stepping back into the spotlight with her first film in over a decade—and even her promotional moves are already drawing attention.
On April 3, the team behind The Bequeathed shared that Jeon, along with co-stars Koo Kyo-hwan and Ji Chang-wook, are currently in talks to appear on the web variety show Just an Excuse and Channel Fullmoon. While nothing has been confirmed, the possibility alone has sparked strong interest—particularly around a potential meeting with Yoo Jae-suk and Na Young-seok.
The Bequeathed marks Jeon’s return to film following her last big-screen project, Assassination, released in 2015. Directed by Yeon Sang-ho, the film centers on survivors trapped in lockdown as they confront rapidly evolving infected.
Beyond the film itself, much of the buzz is centered on Jeon’s rare presence in variety content. Known for keeping a relatively low profile in such appearances, her potential participation has sparked curiosity about what new side of her audiences might see.
As discussions continue, attention remains fixed not just on her comeback—but on how she chooses to reintroduce herself to the public.
