Actors Kim Jae-won and Jung Soo-bin are teaming up in a shocking thriller romance about a psychopath and a schoolgirl.

On April 9, distributor Acemaker Movieworks announced that Kim Jae-won and Jung Soo-bin have been cast in the film My First Graduation. Filming officially began the day before, on the 8th.

The story follows high school senior Chae Do-yeong (played by Jung Soo-bin), who is days away from graduation when she asks mysterious transfer student Gu Do-ha (played by Kim Jae-won) to stage the perfect accidental death—sparking a tense, divisive teen romance. Loved as the “icon of first love,” Kim Jae-won makes a bold transformation as the unreadable newcomer Gu Do-ha. Kim said, “From the moment I read the script, I was so drawn to the project that I couldn’t wait to start filming,” expressing high expectations for the film.

Jung Soo-bin, who plays the uniquely charming Chae Do-yeong, is set to deliver a delicate portrait of a teen where bubbly energy and a tangled inner life collide. She shared, “I’ll do my best to convey that fresh flutter of first feelings just as it is,” revealing her ambitions for the role.

Powerhouse actors Park Ho-san and Heo Jun-seok join as the fathers of Chae Do-yeong and Gu Do-ha, anchoring the drama, while Lee Joo-young appears as Chae Do-yeong’s friend to inject even more energy into the film.
