The 'goddess of Chinese cuisine' Eun-young Park, who rose to fame through the Netflix cooking survival show Culinary Class Wars, opened up about her romance as she heads into marriage.

On the April 5 broadcast of JTBC variety show Please Take Care of My Refrigerator, Park announced, "I'm about to be officially off the market," confirming her upcoming wedding. She added, "I wondered where it would be best to share the news, and I wanted to tell it first on a program that feels like home," expressing her affection for the show. Her fiancé is known to be a non-celebrity doctor.

Park recalled their special connection: "We first met a long time ago on a blind date, but it didn't work out then. Time passed, we met again, and our relationship grew into love."

What truly opened her heart was his thoughtfulness. "As a chef, I always hear people say, 'Make me something delicious,' but he was the only one who said, 'I'll cook for you,'" she revealed. "That sentiment was so beautiful that I fell for him." She also unveiled their wedding photos, showing Park beaming next to her sturdily built groom.

Park also shared a hilarious story about her on-air dancing. "After seeing me dance, he asked, 'Is your restaurant having a hard time?'" she joked. "The more wildly I dance, the more he books reservations," she added, sending the studio into laughter.

The fun continued when they talked about the wedding performance. Chef Choi Hyun-seok playfully volunteered to sing, and Girls' Generation members Tiffany and Hyoyeon, who appeared as guests, burst into an impromptu rendition of their hit 'Kissing You' to bless the couple.

Park will tie the knot this May at The Shilla Seoul.
