Actor Joo Ji-hoon is gearing up for a full-on political push.

As ENA’s Monday–Tuesday drama Climax hits its midpoint, brand-new stills dropped on the 6th.

Episode 7, airing tonight, follows Bang Tae-seop (played by Joo Ji-hoon) as he hunts for a breakthrough amid a media firestorm and a rapidly shifting investigation after Park Jae-sang’s (Lee Ga-seop) death.

With his usual funding cut off, Bang Tae-seop reaches out to a different power bloc, triggering a fast reshuffle of interests. At the same time, Chu Sang-ah (Ha Ji-won) faces a stark career crossroads over her project and future, signaling a major turning point. As each character fights to break through in their own way, a head-on collision now seems inevitable.

The newly released stills show Bang Tae-seop drenched and on edge, hinting at imminent danger. Another shot captures Chu Sang-ah waiting for Lee Yang-mi (Cha Joo-young) at a quiet dinner, her face betraying a swirl of emotions. From Chu Sang-ah, arms crossed and deep in thought at a campaign office, to Bang Tae-seop delivering a rousing speech on the stump, his political rise looks officially underway. Under dazzling lights, Hwang Jung-won (Nana) appears cool and composed, teasing a game-changing variable. Finally, Lee Yang-mi locks eyes with Chu Sang-ah, her razor-sharp gaze foreshadowing seismic shifts and conflict ahead.

With viewers fiercely dissecting every alliance and choice, Climax continues to draw massive buzz online. The series airs every Monday and Tuesday at 10 p.m. KST on ENA and is also available on KT Genie TV and Disney+.
