ALPHA DRIVE ONE member Kim Geon-woo will temporarily suspend activities following a recent incident.
On the 8th, his agency WAKEONE stated that the remark in question was made without awareness that his microphone was on and was not directed at any individual. The agency acknowledged that the language used was inappropriate and issued an apology.
The company also denied additional claims circulating online and urged caution against spreading unverified information.
Kim Geon-woo shared a handwritten apology, expressing regret and stating that he will reflect on his actions and return with a more mature approach.
For the time being, ALPHA DRIVE ONE will continue activities as a seven-member group.
