Model-turned-actor Ahn Jae-hyun opened up about dating and his single life.
On the April 9 broadcast of KBS2 variety show Problem Child in House, singer K.will and Ahn Jae-hyun appeared as guests and shared a wide-ranging conversation. As Ahn calmly talked about his day-to-day solo life and thoughts, the discussion naturally shifted to dating.
When Hong Jin-kyung asked, "Isn't it about time you started dating again?" Ahn hesitated briefly before replying, "Dating is fine. I want it to happen naturally," drawing attention. Having experienced both marriage and divorce, his more cautious stance stood out.
The studio kept things light with jokes about what the two guests had in common. Joo Woo-jae teased, "Aren't you colleagues?" as the cast mentioned their shared modeling background and Ahn's appearance in the drama 'My Love from the Star,' adding to the laughs. Hong Jin-kyung playfully told Ahn, "Let's grab soju sometime," keeping the friendly mood going.
Ahn also revealed details of his single life. "I tend to eat alone often, but in Seongsu-dong, where I live these days, the vibe makes it hard to dine solo," he shared. He added, "When I'm by myself, I keep thinking about the future," showing a thoughtful side. Explaining why he reads a newspaper instead of looking at his phone, he said, "If I look at my phone, I end up doing other things. That time feels wasted," a comment many related to.
K.will agreed, adding, "In the end, we're all living while dreaming of the future," which warmed the atmosphere.
