Actor Gong Myung is back on the small screen, serving up that irresistible sweet-and-salty dual charm.

On the 13th, the team behind tvN’s new weekend drama Eunmilhan Gamsa dropped the first stills of Gong Myung fully locked in as Noh Gi-jun, the ace of the audit office who’s been demoted to handle Public Morals (PM) cases.

In the stills, Noh Gi-jun commands attention with a razor-sharp gaze and a cool, professional aura — the very picture of an “ace” known for getting things done. But the next photo flips the script, catching him in hilariously humbling moments that swing between serious and comedic, making him painfully relatable. After being reassigned to the notoriously troublesome Audit Team 3, curiosity is mounting over what new challenges he’ll take on. Expectations are high for Gong Myung’s perfectly tailored performance that amplifies the character’s surprising duality.

Explaining why he joined the project, Gong Myung said, “I was excited to work with director Lee Soo-hyun, and as soon as I read the script, I imagined how fun it would be to act with senior actress Shin Hye-sun. It was a project I really wanted to do.” He added, “The unique premise of a ‘company public morals audit’ will set Eunmilhan Gamsa apart and draw viewers in.”

Introducing his character, he said, “Noh Gi-jun is a confident, universally loved ‘sweetheart’ who also excels at his job,” adding, “To capture his distinct vibe, I paid close attention to everything — from wardrobe and speaking style to each expression.”

Meanwhile, Eunmilhan Gamsa tells a ‘power-shift romance’ between Joo In-ah (played by Shin Hye-sun) and Noh Gi-jun, who end up falling for each other after a thorough audit. It airs every Saturday and Sunday at 9:10 p.m.
