Comedian Lee Eun‑ji revealed she has shed about 10 kilograms through running.

On November 30, the premiere of MBC variety show “Extreme 84” followed Kian84 and Kwon Hwa‑woon as they took on an extreme marathon challenge in South Africa. In the studio, running enthusiasts Yoo Se‑yoon, Lee Eun‑ji, and Kwak Beom joined as panelists.

Yoo Se‑yoon said, “I have a running crew with comedian friends called ‘Goongshireong Goongshireong’ (roughly ‘Grumble Grumble’),” revealing his hidden passion for running. Kwak Beom boasted, “I run 10K at just over five minutes per kilometer.”

Introducing herself as a running newbie, Lee Eun‑ji said, “Kian84 kicked off a running boom. I thought, ‘Should I give it a shot?’ and once I started, I strangely felt more confident.”

When the topic turned to her rapidly dropping weight, Lee cautiously shared, “I used to be 65 kilograms, but after sticking with running, I somehow ended up at 56 kilograms,” revealing she had lost around 10 kilograms. She added, “Rather than strict diet plans or programs, just running worked best for me,” underscoring the payoff she felt from the habit.

Meanwhile, “Extreme 84” is a running variety show chronicling Kian84’s bid to conquer an ultra‑extreme course that goes beyond 42.195 kilometers.
