Former Wonder Girls member and actress Ahn So-hee candidly shared how she’s been doing after wrapping a stage play and where she’s headed next.

On the 26th, a new video featuring Ahn So-hee dropped on YouTuber and former webtoon artist Kian84’s channel. In the video, Ahn revealed she had been performing in the play Geuttaedo Oneul 2 until recently, saying, “The run ended last month.”

Explaining that it’s a two-hander, she said, “One actor has to juggle four roles, so it was incredibly draining both physically and emotionally.” She added, “It wasn’t easy because the energy output was massive.” When Kian84 brought up stamina, Ahn laughed and admitted, “I wasn’t exactly born sturdy,” lightening the mood.

She was just as honest about her plans after the play. “I’ve barely had any personal time lately,” Ahn said. “I want to slow down a bit, travel, and finally take care of the personal things I’ve been putting off.” She especially drew attention by revealing she’s planning a month-long stay in Europe—one of the items on her bucket list.

As for her future career direction, she made her stance clear. When Kian84 asked about the possibility of returning to music, Ahn drew a firm line: “I’m focused on acting now, as an actor.” Still, she didn’t hide her feelings completely, adding, “I don’t regret my time as a singer, but there are moments when I do miss being on stage.”

In closing, Ahn shared her affection for theater: “Concerts and music shows have a different kind of energy. But theater is another form of stage with intense focus, and it really filled that sense of longing for me.”

Ahn So-hee debuted in 2004 with the short film Bae-eum Gujo-e Uihan Gonggamgak. In 2007, she rose to fame as a member of Wonder Girls, scoring numerous hits as an idol. Last year, she was active in the film The People Upstairs, the stage play ‘The Secret of Flowers,’ and Geuttaedo Oneul 2.
