The 22nd Mise-en-scène Short Film Festival is turning heads after appointing five powerhouse actors as honorary jury members, sending movie fans into a frenzy of anticipation.

On the 19th, the festival announced the final lineup of its main competition jury and honorary jury members for this year’s event. The five honorary jurors are actors Jung Hae In, Choi Sooyoung, Jo Jung Suk, Shim Eun Kyung, and Lee Min Ho.

This year, some of Korea’s top stars will directly take part in category-specific evaluations to spotlight the unique charm of short films from multiple angles. Jung Hae In will judge contemporary youth stories in the 'Take Care of My Cat' section, which focuses on socially themed shorts. Choi Sooyoung will serve on the 'Jealousy Is My Middle Name' section for melodrama and romance. Jo Jung Suk will bring his trademark wit to the comedy-focused 'Conduct Zero' section. Meanwhile, Shim Eun Kyung will evaluate entries in the horror and fantasy 'Epitaph' section, and Lee Min Ho will judge the action and thriller-driven 'Nowhere to Hide' section.

Dedicated to discovering and spotlighting new creators who will shape the future of Korean cinema, the 22nd Mise-en-scène Short Film Festival is being held with support from global OTT platform Netflix.

The festival will welcome audiences from June 18 to 23 at CGV Yongsan I’Park Mall in Seoul.
