Explaining why she picked the project, Lee said, "The script grabbed me, but a personal story played a much bigger part," speaking cautiously. She revealed, "About two years before I took on the show, the cousin I cherished most passed away, leaving a child behind."
Lee also emphasized how the drama’s setup overlapped with her real life. The story follows someone who dies and returns in another body to linger near their family. "That situation of leaving a child behind felt so similar. Naturally, you wish you could meet them again. That’s why it hit me even deeper," she recalled.
