Red Velvet are officially igniting this summer with a full-group comeback built for the season.
On the 6th, the group revealed the release date and teaser images for their summer mini-album 'Velvet Summer' via their official social media.
According to the announcement, 'Velvet Summer' drops on August 3. The teaser shows a boy surfing while a mysterious girl watches him; behind her, a tail reminiscent of a mermaid stands out. Five surfboards lined up on the beach instantly catch the eye — a clear nod to the five members.
This new record marks their first full-group release in about two years since 'Cosmic' (2024).
