SECRET member Jun Hyoseong was moved to tears as she read messages from fans cheering on the group’s first comeback in 12 years.
On July 1, a video dropped on Jun Hyoseong’s YouTube channel to celebrate the comeback, where she read fans’ comments and reflected on the group’s memories. SECRET recently ended their long hiatus with the release of the special mini album 'Secret Flavor.'
In the video, Jun Hyoseong shared her excitement, saying, "The album we prepared for a year and a half is finally out in the world." She added, "When singers release an album, don’t they immediately check the comments?" before diving into fans’ reactions one by one.
She felt relieved to see the praise for new member Yebin. "I’m so happy to see so many comments complimenting Yebin," she said. "It feels like many overseas fans have been waiting as well."
The heartfelt messages from fans who had waited for SECRET’s return for so long made her even more emotional. Reading comments like "I’ve been waiting just for today" and "I’m listening on repeat," Jun Hyoseong’s eyes welled up. "I worried so much, but I can really feel how many people have supported us and waited all this time," she said. "My heart feels warm and fuzzy."
SECRET debuted in 2009. For this comeback, original members Song Jieun and Han Sunhwa did not participate; existing members Jun Hyoseong and Zinger have resumed activities with new member Yebin.
