Shocking reveal: Producer and former rapper Rhymer opens up about the loneliness he’s felt since his divorce, and viewers will see it play out as actor Kim Sung-soo visits him for a one-day training session on Channel A’s Men's Life These Days: Groom's Class Season 2 airing July 3.

On the July 3 broadcast of Channel A’s variety show Men's Life These Days: Groom's Class Season 2, actor Kim Sung-soo drops by longtime friend Rhymer’s gym to get coached as a one-day personal trainer. Model Park So-yoon also joins, and the three later share a meal together.

Kim Sung-soo recalls their history: "Back in our 20s, when I’d just debuted as a model and Rhymer as a rapper, we met at the gym, worked out together, and became close." Reuniting at the gym after a long time, the two greet each other warmly and reminisce.

Seeing Rhymer, Kim immediately marvels, "Your skin still looks great." Rhymer jokes, "Honestly, I think I was just born with good skin," drawing laughs. He adds, "I love cooking, so I’ve never once ordered delivery at home."

When Kim teases, "Then you don’t need to get married again," Rhymer carefully admits, "Life is comfortable, but my heart feels lonely." Rhymer married announcer-turned-broadcaster Ahn Hyun-mo in 2017 and divorced in 2023.

Kim says, "I’m going to walk the runway with So-yoon," and asks Rhymer to help him get in shape. True to his nearly 30 years of training, Rhymer steps up as a one-day trainer.

The two also test their combined totals for the gym’s gold-standard lifts: the squat, bench press, and deadlift. Rhymer boasts about his peak days, saying, "I used to hit a 500 kg total on the big three," showing confidence in his experience.

The show airs July 3 at 9 p.m.
