Actor Jo Jung-suk revealed the deep love and trust he has for his wife, Gummy.

In a recent video on actor Jung Sang-hoon's YouTube channel, Jo Jung-suk appeared alongside Jung's close friends. The four answered subscribers' dilemmas in a balance-game format, sharing candid thoughts.

They first tackled the question: "Which is better to deal with, emotional cheating or physical cheating?" Hearing it, Jung Sang-hoon immediately admitted, "I need a drink. I'm getting too into this," showing how tough the topic was.

After thinking it over, Jo Jung-suk chose "physical cheating." He explained, "Physical cheating obviously breaks you, but you might find a way to forgive and rebuild." He added, "Emotional cheating doesn't seem to come back. It doesn't just hurt me — it feels like it can tear down a whole family. My wife and I share a very strong emotional love, so I can't accept that heart turning to someone else."

Jo also shared a story that showed the trust he has in Gummy. Asked whether he'd allow his wife and his friend to drink alone together while he's asleep, Jung Sang-hoon answered, "It depends on the friend." Jo agreed, saying that's the key, then recalled, "A while back, one of my friends was on a business trip to Japan, and Gummy was also in Japan for an event. They met up there and had a friendly drink together. I had absolutely no problem with it."

He also reflected on how he used to be when they were dating. Confronted with the question of which is harder to handle — a partner who blocks you after a fight or one who keeps calling to the end — Jo said, "I've changed from how I used to think." He continued, "I probably used to dislike the one who blocks more, but now I find the one who keeps calling even harder. When I was dating Ji-yeon (Gummy's real name), I think I tried to resolve everything right in that moment."

In closing, Jo looked back and shared, "I did some self-reflection. Ji-yeon carried our relationship with a much bigger heart and so much more grace," expressing his respect for his wife.

Meanwhile, Jo Jung-suk and Gummy married in 2018 and have two daughters.
