IVE's Rei has firmly established herself as an "all-time trendsetter."
On the 25th, Rei attended the "TikTok Awards 2025" held at Korea University's Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, where she won the award for "Best Trend Leader."
Through her agency, Starship Entertainment, Rei expressed her gratitude, stating, "I want to thank my global fans for loving my various aspects this year, including the 'Rushing Guinea Pig.' I’m so happy and amazed that the TikToks I filmed for fun have turned into such a wonderful gift."
She also added, "I hope many people won’t be afraid to share what they love with others. Whether it’s music or fashion, showing what you enjoy can become a trend for someone else. I will continue to bring fresh joy with my own style, worthy of the title 'Best Trend Leader.'"
Rei has captured the attention of fans and the public by quickly grasping trends on the global short-form platform TikTok, reinterpreting them with her unique style, or creating new short-form trends with innovative ideas.
In particular, she has received widespread love through challenges like the 'Tiramisu Cake Challenge,' 'Real or Fake,' 'So Cute I’m Sorry,' and 'Iraira Challenge.' This year, the 'Rushing Guinea Pig' challenge associated with IVE's "Attitude" activities saw numerous K-pop artists participate, significantly shaking up the challenge market.
Meanwhile, IVE, which Rei is a part of, will kick off their second world tour "SHOW WHAT I AM" at the KSPO DOME in Seoul from October 31 to November 2.
