Group NewJeans member Danielle shared her recent status following the marathon completion.
Former marathon runner Lee Yeon-jin revealed on her Instagram on the 2nd, "Happy 10K run with Danielle. Congrats on achieving a personal best of 46 minutes. I'm so proud of you, Dani, you ran really well," along with some photos.
In the released photos, Danielle displayed a bright smile while holding her medal after finishing the marathon. Lee Yeon-jin also shared in the joy, posing with a 'V' for the camera.
Danielle's appearance drew even more attention as it came after NewJeans lost their exclusive contract validity lawsuit.
On the 30th of last month, NewJeans lost the exclusive contract validity lawsuit filed by ADOR at the Seoul Central District Court's Civil Agreement Division 41 (Judge Jung Hoe-il). The court ruled that it was "difficult to view that the trust relationship had collapsed to an extent that made contract maintenance impossible" concerning the grounds of contract termination presented by NewJeans members, such as the dismissal of former ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin and violations of member protection measures.
In response, NewJeans stated, "We respect the court's judgment, but it is impossible to return and continue normal activities in a situation where the trust relationship with ADOR has completely collapsed," indicating their intention to appeal.
