Actor Hong Jong-hyun completes the special guest lineup for the TVING drama Dear X.
On the 26th, ahead of the release of episodes 9 and 10, production companies Studio Dragon, Monster Union, and Siu Company released still images depicting the first meeting of Baek Ah-jin (played by Kim Yoo-jung) and Moon Do-hyuk (played by Hong Jong-hyun).
In previously released episodes 7 and 8 of Dear X, the public romance between Baek Ah-jin and Heo In-gang (played by Hwang In-yeob) ended tragically. After discovering that Baek Ah-jin had deliberately approached Heo In-gang and his family, Hong Kyung-sook (played by Park Seung-tae) faced an unexpected accident, and the sudden death of her grandmother and a breakup notice from her partner pushed Heo In-gang into a whirlwind of emotions.
In this situation, Yoon Jun-seo (played by Kim Young-dae) continued his suspicion and blame towards Baek Ah-jin, while Seo Mi-ri (played by Kim Ji-young) planned revenge against her, preparing to bring her down. Notably, the reappearance of Choi Jeong-ho (played by Kim Ji-hoon) and Sim Seong-hee (played by Kim Yi-kyung), who were entangled with Baek Ah-jin in the early episodes, became significant.
Particularly, the character Moon Do-hyuk, who leaves a strong impression despite his brief appearance, is noteworthy. In the released photos, Hong Jong-hyun, portrayed as Moon Do-hyuk, captivates everyone's attention with his impeccable suit and charming appearance. He seems to recognize Baek Ah-jin at a glance, approaching her with a fixed gaze, creating a subtle tension.
Expectations are building around the true identity of Moon Do-hyuk as he officially reveals himself to Baek Ah-jin and how their connection will unfold.
