The so-called 'German whistleblower' who raised rumors about actor Lee Yi-kyung's private life has come forward with his perspective.

On the 26th, former journalist YouTuber Lee Jin-ho uploaded a video featuring an interview with person A, the distributor of rumors regarding Lee Yi-kyung, on his YouTube channel. Person A revealed in the interview, "I first contacted Lee Yi-kyung in February of last year. I developed an interest after watching a drama and sent a message, not expecting a reply." He continued, "When I mentioned that I live in Germany, he asked me to send a photo," referencing their past conversation. He struck back against the claim from Lee Yi-kyung's agency that 'the whistleblower sent exposure photos first,' stating, "That is not true."

Regarding the change from posting personal exposure-related content to asserting 'it was AI manipulation,' A explained, "It was due to a friend's advice. A Korean friend said, 'It will blow over in two weeks; if you say this, you won't face any repercussions,' so I posted that content." He admitted, "I realized that was a bad choice too late."

As the expose spread as if it were true, A explained the background of his delayed apology by saying, "I got scared after hearing that real victims might come forward."

In conclusion, A expressed, "I never expected it to grow this large. I'm sorry," conveying his apology to Lee Yi-kyung.

Meanwhile, Lee Yi-kyung's side has filed a lawsuit against A for defamation related to his actions.
