The leads of the film Witjip Saramdeul reunite to spill laugh-out-loud casting backstories in a chaotic, tell-all preview—days before the movie opens on Dec. 3 and their full web show episode drops Dec. 8.

In a teaser for the web variety show Jjanhan-hyung released Dec. 1 on YouTube, Ha Jung-woo, Honey Lee, Gong Hyo-jin, and Kim Dong-wook finally air the funny-but-salty things they had kept to themselves.

Gong Hyo-jin fires the opening salvo, pointing at Honey Lee: "We really struggled when we tried to cast this friend." Lee jumps right in, joking, "Facts. I was the throwaway card."

Ha Jung-woo waves it off—"No, that never happened"—but Gong and Lee keep up the tag-team ribbing. They claim, "Hani said, 'I can join if it's on this date,' and Ha Jung-woo went, 'Can't wait. Ditch her.'"

Ha Jung-woo freezes for a beat. Looking flustered, he explains, "What I meant was we couldn't bring her aboard. I think it was miscommunicated." Lee shoots back, "That's literally ditching me," nailing the bit.

Host Shin Dong-yeob piles on with a tease—"Jung-woo basically went 'ptooey' right then, didn't he?"—and Lee cracks up: "Accurate." The set erupts into playful chaos.

There was some real-life context. At the time, Honey Lee was juggling shoots for Knight Flower and The Fiery Priest 2, and she was drained. She asked for "two weeks to think it over and spend time with my family." "Then sunbae Ha Jung-woo immediately said, 'Next,'" she recalls. "I was so bummed."

Unable to let it go, Lee talked it over with her husband and circled back to say she was in. Ha explains, "The schedule was tight and mine was packed too. I thought Hani wasn't ready."

Even from the short teaser, the cast's chemistry looks off the charts. The full episode featuring the four will be released Dec. 8.

Meanwhile, the film Witjip Saramdeul follows a downstairs couple who invite the upstairs couple—whose nightly noise drives them crazy—over for dinner, only for an unpredictable night to unfold. The film opens Dec. 3.
