The so-called "IV auntie" Ms. A, accused of giving comedian Park Na-rae an illegal medical procedure, has broken her silence.

According to Munhwa Ilbo on the 15th, Ms. A told the outlet, "I once did [procedures] just to make side dish money," yet when asked about the former manager's claim that she actually administered an IV drip to Park Na-rae, she responded, "I don't remember at all," keeping her comments brief.

Previously, Park Na-rae's former manager claimed that after a shoot in July 2023, Park received an IV from a stranger at a hotel in Gimhae, and released text messages allegedly exchanged with Ms. A. The messages reportedly included an address believed to be a hotel, the procedure fee, Ms. A's bank account number, and confirmation of the transfer. Ms. A is said to be a different person from the previously known "injection auntie," Ms. B.

While Ms. A acknowledged that the name, bank, and account number shown in the texts were hers, when asked, "Did you perform a medical procedure on Park Na-rae at the time?" she answered, "I have no idea." Asked whether she knew who Park Na-rae is, Ms. A said, "A comedian," but repeatedly maintained that she "doesn't remember" whether Park received illegal treatment.

Ms. A also emphasized that she is not a licensed medical professional such as a doctor or nurse. When questioned about holding a medical license, she replied, "Absolutely not," explaining, "Before the separation of prescribing and dispensing was implemented in Korea, I worked at a hospital; when a pharmacy sent medicine, I earned a bit of side cash in the neighborhood by doing [procedures]."

Meanwhile, Park Na-rae's side has not issued a separate official statement regarding these additional reports.
