The Girl Group Wedged Between BTS and SEVENTEEN on Brand Reputation — Shocking Result

Living up to their 'kids' president' title.

In December's idol group brand reputation rankings, BTS took 1st, IVE placed 2nd, and SEVENTEEN ranked 3rd.

On the 17th, the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute analyzed approximately 82,834,932 pieces of big data related to idol group brands collected from November 17, 2025 to December 17, 2025, and announced the rankings. 

BTS recorded a participation index of 163,464, media index of 654,643, communication index of 2,168,650, and community index of 3,235,209, for a total brand reputation index of 6,221,966, placing 1st. Link analysis highlighted verbs like "win awards," "achieve," and "set records," while keyword analysis spotlighted "Spotify," "full-group activities," and "Korea Donation Awards." 

IVE posted a participation index of 165,326, media index of 275,650, communication index of 1,105,966, and community index of 3,383,616, totaling a brand reputation index of 4,930,558 to secure 2nd place. 

Following closely, SEVENTEEN recorded a participation index of 123,676, media index of 310,619, communication index of 1,172,002, and community index of 2,896,669, for a total brand reputation index of 4,502,966, ranking 3rd. 

BLACKPINK ranked 4th and EXO placed 5th. Goo Chang-hwan, head of the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, analyzed, "Compared to November, overall brand big data decreased by 9.24%, but brand communication showed an uptick in some categories." 

Also on the list were TWICE, Red Velvet, Stray Kids, BIGBANG, MAMAMOO, OH MY GIRL, ILLIT, aespa, ENHYPEN, BABYMONSTER, KIKI, BTOB, ATEEZ, KORTIS, MONSTA X, THE BOYZ, NMIXX, HEARTS TO HEARTS, Super Junior, LE SSERAFIM, TWS, fromis_9, ITZY, Wanna One, and NCT, in that order.​
