BTS’s Jimin (31) made a candid confession about his comeback prep and weight cut, revealing he can no longer rely on starvation diets—a revelation that’s already stirring buzz among fans.

On April 2, MMA fighter–turned–TV personality Choo Sung-hoon’s YouTube channel featured Jimin and Jungkook, who opened up about their intense workflow. Jimin said, "At a song camp in Los Angeles, we worked on about 100 tracks and narrowed them down to 14," highlighting the fierce album-making process.

Jungkook also broke down their routine: "The moment I woke up, I worked out, then headed straight to the studio after eating and kept working on music all day." On their meals at the time, he said, "I ate well then," and Jimin added, "I ate what I wanted and started a full-on diet after returning to Korea."

Their post-comeback weight management also drew attention. Both increased their water intake and stuck to a low-carb, low-fat, high-protein, meat-centered plan. Jimin admitted, "I once tried to power through by not eating, but I can’t do that anymore. I think it was only possible when I was younger."

Meanwhile, BTS has returned with their first full-length in about three years and nine months, titled 'Arirang'.
