BTS have once again secured a major milestone in Japan.

According to Oricon, the group’s track ‘SWIM’ ranked No. 1 on the Weekly Streaming Ranking dated April 6, covering the period from March 23 to 29.

The rise was especially notable given its previous position at No. 27 just one week earlier, marking a sharp climb driven by strong listener engagement.

With this, BTS achieved their sixth No. 1 on the chart, extending their record as the foreign act with the most chart-topping songs. Their previous entries include ‘Dynamite,’ ‘Film Out,’ ‘Butter,’ ‘Permission to Dance,’ and ‘Yet To Come.’

Beyond streaming, the track and album are maintaining momentum across multiple rankings. ‘SWIM’ also reached No. 2 on the Weekly Digital Single Ranking, while ARIRANG continues to place across album-related charts.

At the same time, BTS are seeing parallel success globally, with both the album and its title track topping major U.S. charts—further highlighting the scale of their reach.
