AKMU's Lee Chan-hyuk is taking on a short film this time.
The film The Snowish Man will screen at Lotte Cinema from the 20th to the 28th. Admission is free—you can download a free ticket from the event page on Lotte Cinema's website or app and reserve a seat.
The Snowish Man follows a snowman, the Snowish Man (Lee Chan-hyuk), born from the season's first snowfall filled with people's wishes, as he sets out with his robot dog Spot to make everyone's wishes come true. Produced by Hyundai Motor Company, it goes beyond a simple commercial to present a cinematic universe that showcases Lee Chan-hyuk's unique creativity.
In the film, Lee's Snowish Man may be born from the cold first snow, but he's portrayed as a warm presence who grants people's wishes.
Viewers who have already watched it on YouTube are responding enthusiastically to The Snowish Man, heightening expectations for a feel-good title set to warm up theaters this Christmas season.
Meanwhile, Lee Chan-hyuk is also earning love for the punk carol "We wish," created during his collaboration with Hyundai Motor Company. "We wish" appears in Chapter One of Hyundai's year-end brand campaign, "Hyundai Wish Tale."
