Comedian Sang-ryeol Ji drew viral attention on the 2025 KBS Entertainment Awards stage by directly mentioning his girlfriend, Bo-ram Shin.
Held on the 20th at KBS New Hall in Yeouido, Seoul, the 2025 KBS Entertainment Awards ceremony was hosted by singer Chan-won Lee, actor Min-jung Lee, and comedian Se-yoon Moon. That night, Sang-ryeol Ji won the Excellence Award in Reality for Mr. House Husband (hereafter 'Mr. House Husband') and Oraedoen Mannam Chugu.
Clutching the trophy, Sang-ryeol Ji said, "It's been 25 years since my debut, and this is my first time at the KBS Entertainment Awards," adding, "I'm truly grateful to receive such an honorable award on my first visit." He continued, "Thank you to my managers and staff who have been my eyes, nose, mouth, and ears," first expressing gratitude to his team.
He then emphasized, "'Mr. House Husband' is really precious to me," and added, "Through this program, I met someone special," instantly drawing all eyes in the room. He carefully shared, "I want to keep this relationship natural and warm."
Previously on 'Mr. House Husband', Sang-ryeol Ji acknowledged his blossoming romance with home shopping host Bo-ram Shin, who is 16 years younger. In his acceptance speech, he added, "So many people are cheering us on, and we'll do our best to honor that support by continuing to spend good times together," openly expressing affection for his partner.
Meanwhile, at the 2025 KBS Entertainment Awards, singer Jae-joong Kim also took home the Reality Excellence Award for Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant. In the Show/Variety category, Seon-ho Yoo and Woo-jae Joo each lifted trophies for 2 Days & 1 Night and Problem Child in House, respectively.
