ONEUS are gearing up for a January comeback with a single that looks back at their origin while opening a new chapter in their story.
On the 6th, agency RBW officially announced that ONEUS will release their single album One on January 20. According to the label, the release is designed to capture the group’s unchanging essence despite the time that has passed, framing the comeback as both a reflection and a renewal.
The title One carries layered meaning. It points to ONEUS’s starting point as a group, while also symbolizing unity and rebirth. Rather than simply revisiting past concepts, the album is positioned as a reset — a moment of recalibration where the group reconnects with its core identity before moving forward again. The narrative centers on continuity: who ONEUS were at the beginning, and how that foundation still shapes who they are now.
Alongside the announcement, ONEUS unveiled a new logo motion video through their official social media channels. In the clip, a crescent moon slowly completes its arc and becomes a full circle against a dark backdrop. The imagery suggests wholeness, cycles, and return — visually reinforcing the album’s theme of coming back to one’s center after periods of movement and change. The minimalist but symbolic animation immediately drew attention from fans, who began speculating about how the visual motif might connect to the music and concept.
This comeback comes roughly seven months after the group’s 11th mini album 5x, released in June. That album highlighted each member’s individuality and versatility, earning strong responses for its confident sound and performance-driven tracks. With One, expectations are shifting toward a more narrative-focused release that emphasizes ONEUS’s signature storytelling and emotional cohesion.
ONEUS’s single album One will be released on January 20 at 6 p.m. KST across major music platforms.
