Shin Se-kyung is making a highly anticipated return to the big screen after 12 years with HUMINT — and the newly released stills are already drawing major buzz ahead of the film's February 11 premiere.

On the 8th, distributor NEW unveiled a still of Shin Se-kyung as Chae Sun-hwa in the film HUMINT. In the photo, she captivates with a mysterious aura and steely gaze.

In the movie, Shin plays Chae Sun-hwa, a server at a North Korean restaurant in Vladivostok. She becomes entangled with Manager Cho (played by Jo In-sung), Park Geon (Park Jung-min), and Hwang Chi-seong (Park Hae-jun), driving the story's tension.

Sharing why she joined the project, Shin said, "From the very first read, there was no doubt in my mind, and my heart raced the whole time. I felt honored to be part of this film."

Director Ryoo Seung-wan added, "Shin Se-kyung has a uniquely fresh charm. She has a solid inner strength, which made working together a great fit," continuing, "Seeing Shin Se-kyung's face in close-up on the big screen is truly singular. Audiences will discover a new side of film actor Shin Se-kyung they haven't seen before."

After the still dropped, netizens reacted, saying, "That enigmatic vibe is striking," "You just can't deny how good this feels," and "She looks like a classic beauty."

Set against Vladivostok, where secrets and truths lie beneath an icy sea, HUMINT is slated to hit theaters on February 11.
