Sparking buzz online, Lee Hyori directly addressed viral posts about her yoga studio being a "giveaway galore," firmly clarifying that the snacks and items seen in videos were brought by members—not handed out by her.
Recently, reviews claiming to have visited Lee Hyori's yoga studio spread across social media and online communities along with videos. In the clips, Lee is seen handing out manggae-tteok (leaf-wrapped rice cakes), tangerines, and yoga socks to members after class. Some netizens reacted, saying, "They're getting too much," and "It feels more like a community lounge than a yoga studio." While many praised the studio's warm vibe, the footage also left room for misunderstanding that Lee herself had provided the items.
Lee stepped into the comments of one such post to set the record straight. "The rice cakes, the tangerines, and the socks were all brought by our members," she wrote, adding, "They're not from me." In fact, the video even includes Lee saying, "Another instructor bought these," suggesting she intended to prevent unnecessary confusion before it spread further.
After marrying musician Lee Sang-soon in 2013, Lee Hyori lived in Jeju and consistently practiced yoga. In 2024, she moved back to Seoul and recently opened a yoga studio, where she now teaches classes herself. Her approach—prioritizing life as a dedicated practitioner over the celebrity label—clearly shows in how she runs the studio.
Meanwhile, Lee Hyori has maintained a steady presence on screen alongside her yoga activities. She showcased another side of herself as the main MC of the Coupang Play variety show Just Makeup, released last year.
