Actor Go Min-si, who stepped down from a drama amid school bullying allegations, is set to return with the film Moral Family.
According to MyDaily on the 13th, Go Min-si has confirmed her appearance in Moral Family and is gearing up for the first shoot.
Moral Family tells the twisted tale of a deeply warped family. A woman who has supported her family for 13 years by bouncing between bars, an eldest brother whose alcoholism makes daily life impossible, a younger sister who makes ends meet through adult livestreams, and a younger brother who comes out as gay and declares he's moving out—just as the mother who left home 15 years ago suddenly reappears, pushing the family into a shocking new chapter.
Go Min-si plays Kim Seon-ji, the family's de facto head. She has a sharp, put-together image and charm, yet carries a cold but fragile inner world—a complex character who hides a tender heart and tears behind her rough words.
This project marks Go Min-si's return following the 2025 drama Tastefully Yours and the film The World of Love. She previously exited the drama Grand Galaxy Hotel amid the fallout from the school bullying accusations.
As news of her next project broke, netizens reacted with mixed responses such as "Impressive" and "She's still shooting ads and keeping her career going."
Meanwhile, Moral Family will hold its main cast script reading on the 16th, with full-scale filming slated to begin next month.
