Actress Lee Joo-bin revealed she was victimized by a scam after someone stole her old ID photo.

Appearing on the YouTube channel Life84 with webtoon artist Kian84, Lee opened up for the first time about a scam that used a headshot taken in 2017. When Kian84 remarked, "This photo is pretty famous," Lee replied, "I thought it being famous would be a good thing, but it was actually stolen."

She said her face was used across various fronts — by call center agents, for insurance solicitations, investment pitches, and even used-car dealerships — which ended up dragging her into scams without her consent. She even received a court appearance notice because someone forged an ID with her photo.

Kian84 joked, "Your face just looks so trustworthy. If that person tried to sell me something, I'd probably buy it," drawing laughs — but the ordeal was anything but light for Lee.

Lee also talked about her trainee days and acting career. She shared that she briefly trained to be an idol while in school, admitting she started partly because she thought it could help her avoid classes — a confession that drew attention.

Meanwhile, Lee Joo-bin is currently starring alongside Ahn Bo-hyun in the tvN drama Spring Fever.
