Actress Kim Tae-ri revealed that filming her first fixed variety show, Bang-gwahu Taeri Ssaem, was even tougher than shooting a drama.
On the 20th, tvN held a press conference for its new variety show Bang-gwahu Taeri Ssaem. Kim Tae-ri attended alongside Choi Hyun-wook, Kangnam, Code Kunst, PD Park Ji-ye, and PD Hwang Seul-woo.
Bang-gwahu Taeri Ssaem is a reality variety program centered on the only after-school theater class at an elementary school in a rural village. Kim Tae-ri serves as the drama club's teacher, with Choi Hyun-wook and Kangnam as assistant teachers, and Code Kunst as the stage music director.
Kim Tae-ri said, "When I first received the proposal, there was no 'Taeri Ssaem' in the title. It started out as 'After-school Drama Club,' and I liked the concept of theater, elementary school students, and a countryside campus."
However, when the title changed to 'Bang-gwahu Taeri Ssaem,' Kim Tae-ri admitted, "My hands and feet were shaking," describing the heavy pressure and responsibility she felt.
Regarding this, PD Park Ji-ye explained that Kim Tae-ri's participation carried special meaning: "From the planning stage, we wanted to address the growing number of small schools."
Meanwhile, Bang-gwahu Taeri Ssaem, starring Kim Tae-ri, is set to premiere on Sunday the 22nd at 7:40 p.m.
