Producer Code Kunst has joined tvN's new variety show Curtain Up, Class! as music director, completing the program's final missing piece.
Premiering on February 22, Curtain Up, Class! is a reality variety that follows the lively stories and growth of kids in an after-school theater club at a small-town elementary school. The lead teacher is actor Kim Tae-ri, with Choi Hyun-wook and Kangnam serving as assistant teachers.
Code Kunst has been tapped to add a distinct musical color. A hitmaking producer who also stands out on variety shows, Code Kunst is now taking on a new challenge as the show's "theater music lead." He will compose original music for the children's performances and meticulously design scene-by-scene sound effects to heighten immersion.
The production team shared their excitement, saying, "Code Kunst's emotive sound will create a fresh synergy with the kids' play." Curiosity is building over the chemistry that Kim Tae-ri, Choi Hyun-wook, Kangnam, and Code Kunst—each active in acting, music, and variety—will showcase together.
