Actress Jung Yu-mi is reportedly set to team up with Lee Dong-wook in the same project.
According to an OSEN report on the 6th, Jung Yu-mi has been offered a role in the Netflix series Love Affair (working title). Love Affair is the new project from director Mo Wan-il, who set the all-time ratings record for a general cable drama with The World of the Married. It follows a couple with stable careers and a seemingly happy marriage whose lives spiral into disaster when an unexpected whirlwind of passion blows through.
Earlier, Lee Dong-wook was said to be considering the male lead, Kim Ji-hoon, a man in his early 40s. Kim Ji-hoon falls into a torrid romance with a woman who isn’t his wife, shaking the foundations of what once seemed like a happy home. Jung Yu-mi has reportedly been offered the role of his wife.
Meanwhile, Love Affair is slated to begin filming in the first half of this year.
