Shocking potential pairing: Actors Lee Yoo-mi and Kim Nam-gil are reportedly in talks to team up.

On the 11th, Lee Yoo-mi's agency Baro Entertainment told Sports Seoul, "She has been offered a role in SBS's new drama Nightmare and is reviewing it positively."

Nightmare is a sci-fi hero drama set in a world where artificial intelligence (AI) infiltrates human dreams, designing nightmares for criminals instead of prison. It follows a large-scale crime surrounding technology that manipulates AI and the human subconscious.

Lee Yoo-mi has reportedly been offered the role of Jang Gyu-eun, a police officer who carries scars from a tragic childhood accident. Jang pushes forward without hesitation to seek revenge while overcoming her horrific past.

Previously on the 5th, news broke that Kim Nam-gil had also been offered a role and was reviewing it positively. If both stars sign on, fans are eager to see what kind of synergy they will bring to the crime-hero genre.

Meanwhile, Nightmare is currently in pre-production and is expected to begin filming soon.
